The group, led by Tim Romani, will work with longtime real estate developer Ray Bake r of Gold Crown Management onthe St. Anthonu project. The current site is adjacent to Sloan’s Lake and borderex by Colfax Avenue, Stuart Street, 17th Avenue and Perry Street. Starting next year, the hospital will begin the process of moving from itscurrent 16-acrr site — where it has been located for almost 100 yearz — to a 25-acre parcelo in Lakewood’s Federal Center near Kipliny and Sixth Avenue. St. Anthony plans to open a new orthopedic-surgeryh hospital at its Lakewood groundds in August 2010 and a new hospital to replace the Denvet facility infall 2011.
Romani said the group will take at abou two years to evaluate thecurrent St. Anthony properth and work with the community before takingy requests for proposals from developers and decide what uses will best servsthe property, the hospita and the community.
