ASPCA(R) Releases New Data Concerning Spot-On Flea and Tick Control

When dogs and cats were treatecdcorrectly (per label directions), the likelihood of severe adversde reaction was significantly less: no illness despitr a call to the ASPCA (7%), mild illness (69%), moderatew illness (22%), major illness (2%), and deat h (0.1%).
"The important take-home message is that although adversew reactions can occur with all flea andtick products, most effectss are relatively mild and include skin irritation and stomach upset," says Dr. , ASPCA veterinary toxicologist and Senior Vice Presidenft AnimalHealth Services.
